They are welcoming, spontaneous and because of their sensitivity, they bring us together by enriching and challenging us. Those with intellectual disability can be our teachers and lead us to appreciate what really matters most in life.

IDEAL-WAY.ca focuses on the gifts of the person with the disability, in a spirit of inclusion for those that follow a different path. We provide meaningful opportunities which ultimately lead to mainstream community involvement. Without exposure to the mainstream community, persons with intellectual disability can not possibly receive the necessary opportunities, which we take for granted, to develop and learn social skills and tools of everyday living. We should not focus on the outward appearance of an individual, but rather on the heart within.
