Dear Santa,
Thank you for coming to our Bowling Party on Saturday morning. The “kids” were so happy to see you. They really liked the knapsacks you brought with you. We know you are very busy just now and really appreciate the time you spent with us. Thanks for bringing Adeline with you.

Ideal-way,
Thanks again for helping me out with your generous donation of the boxes of sweaters. They will go to many people in Toronto who live in poverty. Thank you again for thinking of me when you have some special goods to give away. To all the ideal-way group I give a great big THANK YOU!
Have a great 2009.

To everyone at Ideal-Way,
Thank you so much for everything you are doing to make a difference in the lives of so many special people. Prior to the IDEAL Poetry Contest, my 14 year old son Michael, rarely used a pen and paper. Since entering the Contest, he sits down at our kitchen table every day to write poetry. The only thing is that he thinks he can enter the contest every day. Thanks to your Blog, he is going to post his poems on your blogsite. What a wonderful idea! Your Board member, Maureen Lee, is doing a great job and Michael is so excited. You have made one 14 year old boy a very happy person. And, I am sure he is not the only one. Continue doing what you are doing, because you are changing the world one person at a time. By the way, I love the concept of your Cookbook. Can't wait to buy some copies for my family.
Sincerely,
Kathy Elliott |

Dear Robert, Addie and Don:
I just wanted to thank you again for coming to our school and giving the kids recognition and the fabulous back packs! There was something about all three of you that made me feel at ease - a true connection.
Not really sure what it was but, I appreciate you and the work that you are doing for "our" kids. It was really great to meet you and I am going to watch for your art contest. My son loves to draw and I will try to get his class involved.
Sincerely,
Jeanie Taylor |

Hello!!!!!
Hope you made it back safely. Everyone came to work wearing a great backpack. What a perfect gift as all my students bring their lunch and many other treasures.. You should have seen the Woodstock Sentinel Review today!!!I hardly got in the front door and I heard Have you seen this morning's paper? Robert you will have to sign autographs with Danielle. People really enjoyed the article and it explained why and who could enter. All my students were so impressed with what you are doing. Addie, Robert and Donald I've never seen so caring, respectful, patient, and enthusiastic people like yourselves. It's like a breath of fresh air how attentive you were spending so much time with all the individuals. Most people are so caught up with meetings and paper work they lose touch what is really important. Robert you will be receiving some letters from Meagan and Danielle.. They are still floating on a cloud.. You realize Meagan and Danielle's lives will never be the same. What happened yesterday will always be like a magically mirror to them. Words can never express how I feel and I am so grateful you thought of this wonderful contest. I will send you the paper will be in touch soon.

Dear Robert, Addie and Don, Jan and Al:
Congratulations on the great success of Ideal-Way’s first charitable event!
Your creativity, generosity, and fine organization were outstanding. By bringing
together practical material goods and making them readily available at no charge,
you made many needy people very happy. Within your project, you also offered individuals
the empowering opportunity to make their own choices.
Ideal-way is a very exciting concept and a much appreciated service to the intellectually
disabled adults of Etobicoke.
Thank you very much for your dedication and wonderful contribution.
Sincerely yours,
Joan Karout

Since Ideal began I have felt excited and believe God has asked us to be part of
his plan. This makes me feel really good. I feel good to be part of something I
think is so important and because I have an intellectual disability it helps me
to feel excepted which I don’t always feel by others. When we hold an event I have
trouble sleeping for a week before because I am so excited. When I go to these events
I see I am luckier than some others with a disability so am glad to try to help
them. If I can have fun doing it. We are a good team and cheer each other on because
we want the best for some that have only a little. I see a lot of smiles and love
from the people we try and help which makes me very happy. Everybody should try
helping somebody out because everybody need to see how happy you can make them.

Dear Addie:
I want to thank you for the wonderful Ideal-Way event on Sunday. Everyone walked
away with a big smile and an even bigger bag of wonderful items. I know that no
one has ever experienced an event like your give away. They have never gone somewhere
where people encouraged them to take what they needed without paying. Your volunteers
were so nice and always positive. The volunteers went out of their way to be so
very helpful and made everyone feel special. Everyone enjoyed the lunch as it gave
them an opportunity to socialize and take rest. It is very seldom that you get to
shop and eat for free! Even after the event people have been talking about how nice
it was to have a give-away and I know that your kindness has meant a lot. As you
know all the people I work with are very poor, many live on less then $11,00 a year
and after paying for rent and food they have very little to buy the “extras” you
need to live. Your give away gave them a chance to get some new clothes, items for
the kitchen and for their homes. A lot of these items they would go without because
they can’t afford to buy them. When you go without for so long it is nice to be
treated so well and to be given an opportunity to get some nice things for free.
Please thank everyone involved in your event you have made so many people happy.
Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
LauraLee E.
